This Women's History Month, we honor the legacy of Amber Evans, a guiding light and force in the fight for freedom and justice. Amber was an activist, community organizer, sister, and freedom fighter. She was also so much more, and in her 28 years, she made a long-standing impact on all she came into contact with. She was dedicated to holding space for anyone in need, be it her community, loved ones, or young people.

Amber, a graduate of The Ohio State University and majoring in journalism, was a lover of literature and received her master's degree in library science from Kent State University.

Amber's thoughtfulness and compassion are undeniably felt, and the energy and devotion are truly missed in our community.

Rest in power, Amber. Your legacy lives on forever. We love and miss you ❤️
