This is how it should be! Not living off the government!

People can hate me for speaking my mind but here it is!

As a father of a child with a rare disability, we are not eligible for any assistance because we make to much. My wife and I have to work extra jobs and find additional sources of income to provide for our family.

Even though we struggle because the consistent cost of everything rising, having to take time off work to make sure he gets to appointments, along with everything else.

His appointments arent always local, we are travel to Springfield, Peoria, Bloomington, Champaign, Effingham regularly. Where fuel cost, and maintenance on the miles we put on the vehicles add up quickly.

We are not eligible for:

Social security for him,
Medicaid for him,
Food stamps,
Day care funding,
Or any other kind of assistance.

We have to figure out how to put food on our table along with clothes on our boys back.

I do believe some individuals need the assistance, but there is a lot of lazy people who abuse the system. With that being said, the programs are broken. They need fixed. Instead of funding them, let people figure it out. There are enough food pantries and local assistance to help support the ones in truly need and let the abusers figure out how to put the food on the table like we do!

In 2018, I met with multiple representatives in Springfield and we discussed the abuse of the snap benefits and social services. We need to fix this problem. The able working people need to stop living off the government and go find jobs.

Representative Chris Miller shared this image on his page. I truly don’t understand the raise in costs of our electric! Hell I don’t even have Ameran, I go through a different supplier but Ameran made sure to raise our distribution rates!

So how does the power company’s have a monopoly over our power?

Isn’t their laws that don’t allow companies to monopolize?

Offical Release

After a lot of consideration and thought. Along with talking with my wife, along with talking with my videographer.

I do not feel that JGTC, WCIA or any other news outlet covers our community well with news. Our news comes from the city’s website, page or other citizens pages. The Edger County Watchdogs do cover some stories that the others don’t cover but……..

I don’t think the right information is being reported!

Back in 2020 I tried to start the Springfield wire, but with Donnelly’s closing (losing our jobs),covid and then having a baby. I was not able to continue doing it.

So…..

Here we are. I will be doing a lot of the stuff I have been doing but releasing them differently in a more formal manner along with a few other project ideas I will do.

With that being said, I am going to need some help with getting this started and staying a float till we get it off the ground. I would like to find a few businesses that would like to sponsor or run ads but I know I will be posting some controversial content. If that doesn’t bother you let me know.

If you don’t own a business and just wanna donate contact me or send it through my Venmo which I posted below.

These funds will help with attorney expenses, Foia expenses, some equipment we still need, along with some miscellaneous expenses.

You see the city use funds to buy products from corporations online like staple instead of buying from a small business right across the street from city hall,

You see the city start a business to be in competition with another small business within the city,

You see the city develop and try to move tourism traffic to the out shirts of town, instead of creating something in town close to small businesses,

How about the small businesses that are already hurting from COVID, inflation, and other things. Now shutting them down for days because of a water problem that could have been prevented,

Let’s discuss these issues, let’s help small businesses flourish in town!

Great food and spirits were running ads trying to get business because emerald acres has the same thing as a that business. This is the same business that had to fight tooth and nail to save their liquor license in the past.

Do you see a pattern? Or Is it me?
