A plane crashed at Mayfield Airport today. From what I was told, the plane had come from St. Louis after being in maintenance for a few weeks. It turns out the pilot didn't have any breaks and he could not stop, causing him to go through the fence, cross over highway 58, and finally crash into a home directly across the street. No one was severely injured during the accident; the pilot had hit his head on impact but was able to walk away. The home owner was making dinner in the kitchen when the incident happened. The FAA will come do an investigation tomorrow before they start to remove the plane from the property.

Benton Kentucky Flooding 2/16/25
Heavy Rain last night caused a lot of local roads to be closed but Benton was struck pretty hard damaging several businesses. Here is a quick video I put together showing some of the damage.
