Most government workers go there to do a job and get a paycheck, not to be preached at. Religion is okay for people to have. The line is supposed to be when it infringes on other people; telling someone they're wrong for their faith is one of those blatant infringements.

Imagine a supervisor telling a subordinate asking them to pray and saying they need to rethink their religious beliefs. That's so bad I can't comprehend this being allowed in this day and age.

It's a given at this point the expansion of proselytizing under this administration isn't for Muslims, Hindus, or any other religion. In fact, it would be used against them in some I bet. By specific types of protestants, chiefly Evangelicals.

But guess this is the time for the Church of Satan and Pastafarians to get lit up now!

Between beef tallow, sugar in Coke, and now trying to reduce screenings, MAHA is only about eugenics not actual health.

RFK Jr. is actively trying to w**d out people he deems undesirable.

But this is all an attempt to eliminate mitigation and prevention measures in healthcare, which saves money and time.

Kennedy is reportedly planning to remove all members of an expert task force that decides which preventive health measures insurance must cover.

Illegal detentions are just going to go up.

A US citizen was detained without being able to contact a lawyer or anything for hours, telling him he had no rights (he does).

They wanted access to student information.

The authoritarian downslide is going to reach a fever pitch.

"They said that I do not have rights, that my constitutional rights don't matter at a port of entry and that I should stop talking about rights," Chavarria said.

Does this dolt not know this already exists? Everyone just calls it Mexican Coke and it's delicious in a glass bottle.

Also, what happened to the free market with Republicans? With the tariffs on sugar by Trump, this would make Coca Cola more expensive (they haven't said anything in the affirmative yet). Not to mention what happens to all that corn farmers are growing?

Trump is either approving only red states or waiting forever to approve them unless it's somewhere like Texas.

If a state like California needs disaster assistance, there's got to be some strings attached. However, when conservative states need it suddenly socialism to the rescue.

He's already said he wants to phase out FEMA, but the flooding in Texas is showing precisely why it's needed. What's going to happen next year when these events happen (and they will).

FEMA announced that federal disaster assistance is available to the state of Texas to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms, straight-line winds and flooding from July 2, 2025, and continuing.

Now that the reconciliation bill is passed and about to be signed, a couple of things.

It increases the budget for ICE by over $40 billion dollars. It will now become the largest law enforcement agency and in a time when they're terrorizing Americans and migrants, it's going to get real bad.

It will remove people from Medicaid. Most people on this program are either working, a child, or elderly. The work requirements alone will do this because of administrative burdens. This is how red tape hurts people.

It will also cut over a half trillion from Medicare (elderly healthcare) over ten years.

The "no tax on tips" is capped and will expire in three years.

It's all a mirage of addressing nonexistent issues and increasing the debt, something Republicans used to care about.
