To everyone who came out to support us at the Home for the Holidays event — THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️
It’s always such a treat to see familiar faces, share a laugh, and serve you dishes made with love. Your support means everything to us, and we are truly grateful for this amazing community.

🌿 A Taste of Home from West Java 🇮🇩 🌿

One of Chef’s favorite dishes — and her daughter’s too — is this comforting plate of Sayur Asem and Empal Gepuk with Sambal. ❤️

Growing up in a small city in West Java, the flavors of Sundanese cooking shaped every meal — simple ingredients, fresh vegetables, and the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and spicy.

Sayur Asem brings the tangy warmth of tamarind soup, filled with long beans, peanuts, chayote, and sweet fresh corn — a true harmony of earthy and bright flavors that instantly brings back childhood memories. Empal Gepuk adds the tender, caramelized richness of marinated beef, cooked slowly until it’s perfectly sweet and savory.

And of course… no meal is complete without a spoonful of fiery homemade sambal 🔥

This dish isn’t just food — it’s a story of family, love, and the memories that inspired Angel Touch Kitchen. 💛
