Biden ousts Social Security Administration Leadership -- FCW

Friday afternoon announcement to SSA staff confirms that Trump appointees are out.

After a recent Supreme Court ruling suggested SSA's top leaders could be replaced before their terms expired, the White House moved late on July 9 to do just that.

I unsubscribed from your newsletter today once it struck me that you are no different than the rest of the liberal agenda driven media. You disappoint me.
Please see and respond
Why is it impossible to unsubscribe from your emails? I used my business email to attend a webinar that ended up unrelated to my area of work. I have unsubscribed multiple times but still get 5-6 emails from you daily.
Massachusettshas another Congresswoman (Ayanna Pressley) we can be proud of!
This article explains which agencies may be shut down partially if no agreement happens on funding by Dec 21. It appears to me that a wall is more essential to us than the unessential operations (the only ones left undone durng a shut down) of these agencies that would close down temporarily until an agreement is reached. I also think Congress should have to remain in DC at work until they can agree which means missing Christmas break. I support the president in holding out for what it really takes to get a wall and put this security issue behind us. The Democrats are the ones who are closing the government because they do not want to secure our border--something which would ultimately save us money if we spent a finite amount up front. We need to call out the Democrats who do not care about our country and its citizens. Everyone always blinks. But this is a really essential need being denied by the spenders of government (Dems who want to give away everything the tax payers paid) just because they do not want a Republican to be able to count this as a success. How childish. How dangerous to the country to keep the borders open. Lets all call our Congress representatives and let them know we want a wall now.
Just curious, what does FCW stand for ? I never heard of you before now.
Just read Derek Johnson's article on the need for a massive IT overhaul at the IRS. Talk about a blast from the past! The IRS was engaged in a massive IT overhaul back in the 1970s, that project was both way over budget and way late in 1976. So here we are, 40+ years later and IRS has obsolete, outdated equipment and software. IMHO, the problem is not the equipment, it's the IT mindset of the agency management , Treasury Department management, and Congress. All of them operate from two bases: 1. "We just spent of bomb of money on IT hardware and software licenses, so we're done." and 2. A lot of them seem to have no idea what the agency IT needs are beyond working email and on-time pay deposits.
Introducing the cabinet members at the event, Trump said that Wilkie, "by the way, has done an incredible job at the VA,.. He signed a multi billion dollar, sole source award, that was in discussion for almost 2 years!!??? That’s a incredible job? Pretty low bar.
Great thoughts from the new Federal CIO!
