The Adventures of Otis

I made some new friends at First Hagerstown Hose Company on my walk! I think I want to be a fire dog when I grow up. ☺️😉

I met a new friend at the park today! We ran and played so much! Now I’m home and resting. I’m not used to running around so much anymore!

Today we went on a hike along the Potomac!

It was bath night. Mama noticed I was shivering and covered me up.

I didn’t have the best start to my day today. Mama took me for our morning walk and right as I started my spin, something latched onto my paw! I spun faster and faster to try and get it off but it just wouldn’t! I tried using my mouth but that wasn’t working. Thank goodness my mama was there! She got the little terror off my paw! She says it was a hornet, but it was pure evil! She checked my paw to make sure I was okay, but we still had a long way to walk and I just didn’t wanna. She carried me, but I get fussy real quick so she put me down. I hobbled as long as I could before asking her to pick me back up.

When we got home she made it all better! I got some cheese - she said she put meds in it, but I inhaled that beautiful, shiny piece of orange heaven too quickly to even tell. Then she let me lay on her while she worked. I was so tired. I can jump up and down now but I’m sticking close to her until I feel safe enough to venture in my own again.
