SHE
She buries her pain, and hides behind untruthful smiles.
She constantly breaks,
in the eyes of denial.
Many attempts,
Slowly destroying who she was.
She fights with herself,
Forever losing the girl she once was.
She gave in too much,
She killed her self love.
Many attempts on her life,
her eyes gazing above.
She's always put up a fight, it's wrecked her for life.
A survivor of untold traumas,
Too big of a heart,
She fears monsters among us.
The tendrils of madness, it's entangled her mind.
She resists as she's pleading,
She's let love make her blind.
Standing alone, her agony, deep.
She urges her soul, to just fall asleep.
She's dazed and confused, how did we become abused.
Stinging, like a thousand wasps attacking,
Belief in herself, that's the thing that she's lacking.
She's falling victim no more,
and that love, another scar that she wore.
She's fell deep and depressed,
Undoubtedly tapped out,
Such stress.
Each night as she cries,
She begs and she pleads through the night.
