Can you believe it??? WE'RE BACK! It took almost three months to get us back on the microphone, and it feels great to be talking again. We've missed our conversations and connections and so we're ready to get back into more regular episodes. For our return, in Episode 58: The Fireman and The Dance, we're talking to Bryan Fey about his time as a volunteer firefighter in town for over 20 years. We get to hear some of his stories and talk about this town we all love. Plus, we give you a bit of a sneak peak into this week's Firefighter's Dance 2024 in downtown McMinnville. We hope hearing from Bryan will inspire you to grab your tickets and join us for what will hopefully be a memorable party supporting our local firefighters. We're back! And we have an important question for you on Episode 55: You Want It Or Not? And by it, we're talking about high quality, locally owned restaurants run by people who have been investing in our locally community and economy for over a decade. This isn't to guilt anyone, this is to make sure that we are all remembering that we are an important part of the health of our local restaurants. We can't assume that they will be fine with out us. Things are hard in many businesses, but there are uniquely tough for restaurants. And we're so thankful for our friends chef and Owner Ricardo Antunez of Pura Vida Cocina, and beloved bartender and Owner Patrick Bruce of Thistle Restaurant McMinnville. We hope this conversation inspires you to pop in and have a breakfast at Pura Vida, and grab an amazing cocktail from Patrick at Thistle. They miss us when we aren't there. It's still Tuesday, right? If it is, then that means we've got a new episode! And we're excited to bring this week's Episode 54: Townie Talk to you. We love this, talking with our friends Dan Davison and Todd Godfrey about life in McMinnville. And as always, we are asking about their favorite memories (well it's Chelsey's favorite thing to ask!). It's always fun to connect on the things we have in common and our shared memories and we're thankful to these two for spending some time with us.

Whether you enjoy reading books, or magazines, or blogs, or twitter threads, there's a little bit of all of that in this week's episode. We had a great time chatting with two local authors, Emily Strelow and Emily Grosvenor Diesburg in Episode 53: A Delight Of Emilys. Emily Grosvenor Diesburg came up with this description for a collection of Emilys and we thoughts it was super cute, so in her honor and our other guest that is why we called it a delight. These two women are a great representation of the local talent we have in our community and you can also have a chance to meet then this weekend at the library. We chat with them on the episode about what it takes to get a book published and what other publications they contribute to. We know you will learn something and hopefully be inspired to pick up these books at our local bookstore Third Street Books

Tis the season for all of the feelings. We are so thankful to all of our listeners and with this final episode of 2023 we feel fortunate to spend time with good friends and neighbors in our favorite local bar. The Blue Moon Lounge will always be the place we go to connect and with Episode 51: Holidays At The Moon - Part 2 we got to do just that. We will be taking a few weeks off to enjoy time with our families and getting rested and ready for the new year. You will hear in our intro that things haven't been smooth sailing these last few months, and those emotions are hitting us as we look forward to some rest.
