Family Friday: Meet Allyson Hutchison

Allyson has been part of the Main Street Media family since April, and she keeps busy managing our Sparta and Crossville socials, writing and editing The Good News with Justin Reed, helping with local news, and even handling front-of-house duties in Crossville!

Her favorite part of the job? “I love the people I work with. Every day we have a laugh or a good chat. I also really enjoy learning new things and getting to interact with the public — especially when I get to hand out prizes!”

When she’s not at work, Allyson’s spending time with family and friends, reading, watching movies, writing (she’s always open to story suggestions — drop them in the comments 👇), or volunteering at the Cumberland County Animal Shelter.

Her favorite song right now? Roger Miller’s “You Can’t Roller Skate in a Buffalo Herd” — silly, fun, and full of personality, just like her! 🎶

Her advice to her younger self: “Don’t be afraid to be yourself. The people you’re meant to have around will accept you for who you are.” 💛
