Sometimes life reminds you—especially at Christmas time—that there are truly good people in this world. ✨PLEASE READ!
This morning, for a small business meeting and grabbing coffee at Lazy Dreamer Farm with fellow Realtor Diane Digregory, we had the privilege of meeting Marine Corps Veteran Gunnery Sergeant Patrick Keally completely by chance. And what a blessing that was. He shared pieces of his service during the Vietnam War—how he was injured, what those years meant to him, and the pride he still carries for serving his country. Equally moving was the love he spoke of for his late wife, who he lost just over a year ago. He recently wrote a book about his Vietnam experiences and dedicated it to her. It’s now available on Amazon.
Diane and I left feeling deeply inspired and reminded of the strength, sacrifice, and love that still shine so brightly in people like him. Moved to tears, I even asked if I could give him a hug. A perfect stranger just minutes before, yet I felt better for even having met him!
Thank you, Gunnery Sergeant Keally, for your service, your stories, and the unexpected inspiration this morning. ❤️
