9:45a- We are nearing maximum low tide along the coast but are still being impacted by the tsunami waves looking at Crecent City, CA in particular. Until all Tsunami threats are over, stay away from the ocean, harbors, jetties, & marinas as waves are still 1-2ft above the water level.

6:10a- Tsunami Warning and Tsunami Advisories continues for our coastlines until further notice. Del Norte Coast is under the Warning where we have seen much larger water level rises compared to the Oregon Coast. Either way stay away from the coast and off harbors and marinas until all advisories are lifted.

An 8.8 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Russia has prompted a Tsunami Advisory for the coastal areas of California, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia from the California/Mexico Border to the BC/Alaska border.

A tsunami advisory has been issued for coastal areas of Oregon. If you are located in this coastal area, move off the beach and out of harbors or marinas. Stay out of the water and away from shore. Follow instructions from local authorities and stay tuned to your local news source and NOAA weather radio for further information for updates.
