Trooper is a 2-year-old, 43.4 lb blue-black mixed breed with boundless energy and a heart full of adventure. This handsome guy is ready to get out and explore, and he's looking for someone to share the journey with.

Trooper is a true social butterfly with other dogs. He's good with his canine friends and absolutely shines in playgroup, where he's earned the title of "Playgroup Rockstar." He and his pals have a blast together, and his easygoing, playful side comes out when he has a friend to romp with. If you already have a dog at home, Trooper may be a great match, and a meet-and-greet with your current pup is a good first step.

He's also smart and loyal, which makes him a joy to be around. Smart dogs love having something to do, so Trooper will thrive with a family who enjoys an active lifestyle. Think daily walks, time outdoors, play sessions, and plenty of mental stimulation. Training and activities that challenge his brain would be a great way to bond with him. His spirited nature means he needs a family who can keep up with him and who will love him for all that energy.

Adoption fee: $250
