There are three things that will take you out of here. That is sugar salt and stress.

Too much of any of those in too small of a Time will be your undoing. And you are in charge of all three of those.

It depends on how you're managing at the end of the day.

I 🫸🏾 to be accountable Everyday! Even when no one is watching. I know that I'm still watching. I still have my self to answer to.

Remember, no one can hold you accountable like you can. You're the only person that sees you 24 hours a day.

You know when you have set yourself back, you know when you have pushed forward. And try as you may, It's extremely hard to lie to yourself.

That's why I hold myself accountable. I could not expect people to respect me if I didn't.

So I have to respect myself first before I can expect any respect to be given back to me.

Less respect ourselves and treat the body how it deserves to be treated going forward.

The next Fitness Seeker in line for Gains!

Seems like not that long ago I was just holding this little guy in my arms as his mother trained.

She was concerned that it would be an issue because our training time was during his feeding time.

I told her simply"hand them over to me I got this". As she "said are you sure"? I replied to her "I think I've done this in time or two with my son".

And just like that she was able to finish her workout as I said the young man and even burped him as well.

She was one of the first mothers that I've trained all the way through her pregnancy until the week of delivery.

I wasn't going to let anything stop her from getting back to it.

And now look at him, full of joy and laughter and loves the sports as he likes to call it.

From that day I was deemed Uncle Kelvin 😊. It's an honor.

No situation is perfect so if you're waiting for the perfect situation to get yourself in shape or to make a life move in general go ahead and do it.

Paralysis on analysis is a real thing and nothing's going to be perfect. Life does not wait for us so we cannot wait on life.

I can't wait to see how does young man develops as he continues on in life.

I can't tell you how life's going to go for you but what I can tell you is that if you need help figuring out the health aspect of it don't be afraid to reach out.

Consistency is what Keeps you in the game. Full Stop.

There will be thousands of programs, Trainers, Specialist, that will through a thousand different ways to get you to subscribe to what they are selling.

At the end of the day if you are not showing up for you, you will fail. Your friends and family have lives outside of you. Your Goals are not their goals. What you eat doesn’t make them….. You get the idea.

It is your fight, and if they want to help or participate that is fine, but remember it is yours and yours alone.

What happens if you intertwine your time with theirs and then they get busy? Do you just not work toward your goals that day?

Do you put your Health/lifestyle/goals on hold until they are free again? I’ll answer it for you, you don’t.

I would set up times to train with buddies of mine back in the day, looking forward to the training session. Next thing you know it was “hey man something came up, I can’t make it today, can you do tomorrow?

And then I'm bummed out about it. So what I started to do is set up times for them to meet me so if they could not make it. That way if they could not make it I still stuck to the plan.

Remember what you got into this for. If it was to please others, give up right now because it won't last. If you are doing this for your physical/mental/quality of life, that will keep you in the game.

Keep Pushing. And if you need help with remembering this, don't hesitate to reach out.

3,285 Days with this woman of mine .danni

3,285 days of going through good times and bad times.

3,285 days of talking to each other everyday, even when the other person was out of town.

3,285 of trips, chilling at home, the beach, parties, bowling, pool restaurants, or just driving around aimlessly.

3,285 of getting to know and loving my son and him learning to love her back.

When you look back on it, you never realize that it has been 3,285 days, but time usually flies when you like the person you love.

You learn to take them where they are, flaws and all.

It's you and me at the end of it all my love, let's shoot for another 3,285.

The Reality? Health & Fitness are my life. Even outside of it.

I hear those say to me" Well you're a trainer so its "easy" to stay in shape all year.

Its just another excuse used by those thinking that they could do it as well if they were in my shoes.

There is one thing that we have in common for sure, and that is that I use to be a 9-5er the same as you.

Even when I got certified I was still working 10 hour shifts at night, entertaining and raising my son in the afternoons, and training clients while this was all happening.

Did I mention that I was only getting 4-5 hours a morning (if I was lucky)of sleep?

I'm not saying any of this to put anyone down. I'm saying this to take the excuses away.

We hold on to those with a vice grip and wonder why we don't further ourselves.

If you want to be better healthier version of yourself shoot for it.

It's the one person you can control fully. 10 percent of life is what happens to you. 90 percent is your response to it. Shout out to Charles R Swindle for the Quote.
