That's What I was told by a random avatar in my comments of my latest video.

It's always the faceless ones😮‍💨🤦🏾‍♂️. But it's an important point.

When it comes to bands, they have been essentially reduced to rehabilitation and adding to something you're already doing. I.e.

And these things are valid and have their place. I think resistance bands have their place as well and not just in the confines of rehabilitation or adding to your lifts.

Over the years I've trained clients with these so-called inferior products and I've got great results from them. Not only that but the one thing that they have above everything else is their ability to be transferred and place to place so you're not stuck inside to get your results.

I will elaborate morning on a future video.

The Importance of RECOVERY, I never understood it fully before.

Being more seasoned these days, I really have started to appreciate a lot of things that I didn't before.

One of them being the power of recovery. And it seems so simple , but with so much misleading information out there it's easy to fall into it.

I've never drunk pre workouts before , and I don't take in any coffees or stimulus to keep me going. I've always said a good night's rest is the cure to most fatigue you're feeling.

It may sound cliche to sum , but most people don't know that you're not building muscle when you're training, you're building muscle when you're resting.

We get so lost thinking that if we take a couple of days off that we're going to lose the muscle that we've stimulated.

I used to think this way as well.Until I started being more intense with my workouts and training less that I learned less is more.

Fully recovered.I come back to each work out.Ready to workout and not just half assing.

But what do I know? I'm just some random resistance band using vegan trainer guy🤷🏾‍♂️.

Listen, you didn't accumulate fat overnight.So you're not gonna burn 🔥 it overnight.

If you're gonna find a coach or a trainer, make sure that they are logical and they're not telling you that you can fix whatever you have going on. In sixty to ninety days.

Restructuring , the brain is the biggest part to becoming a better version of you. And until you do that, you'll keep falling back into the same traps over and over looking for a quick fix.

If you wanted, you're gonna keep going at it until you get what you want. Keep on pushing because there is no other way to have long-lasting results without drugs.

How much protein am i getting these Days🤔❓️

I've been putting in some work and experimenting on this body of mine.

2 months ago, I came across this video produced by the heavy-duty project on the amount of protein required for training.

It's something I've always been curious about because I always had a feeling it was greatly exaggerated.

Now, there is no doubt protein is necessary to aid in muscle building, but the amounts have been greatly biased to sell programs and nutrition supplements.

On the other hand, carbohydrates have been greatly demonized in the eyes of the public. It really comes down to the types of carbohydrates that you're consuming.

My macros currently:
Calories 2905
Protein 124 grams
Carbs 517 grams
Fiber 87 grams
Weight 210lbs as of today, 9/27/2025
Age 41

I know, how can you eat all of those carbs and not get fat? Thermodynamics is how and being smart about my choices as well.

The body uses carbohydrates to spare the protein needed so that you can do a job.

Because the carbs are used are not potato chips and pies.

Anyway, I'll keep you updated on everything.That's going on in the coming months.

September: the month I planned on going back to the rat race.

This month is a very significant month for me. I would say very important to say the least.

When I was first wrongfully terminated from my place of employment 7 years ago, I had to put a plan together so that all of the pieces in my life kept moving.

I only had a handful of clients in January when my termination took place, but luckily for me I had a friend who convinced me to put money away in a 401k for the duration of my time there.

I was so happy I listened because in the eight years that I worked for this place I was able to save five figures worth of currency so float me for more than a few months.

When you see that kind of money hit your account and more cases than not it breeds complacency and comfort. I had no time for that kind of thinking.

I immediately reached out to a friend of mine's because at this point I was certified to train clients but I never needed to train them full time because of the employment that I have.

When I reached out to them, they were more than happy to help me figure out what I needed to do because they themselves had become a freelance trainer at the time.

I was already pretty consistent with putting out content but I also joined a website called thumbtack which put me in front of people outside of my circle.

I also started to reach out to friends and people I've trained before about reviews and to see if they had anyone who was willing to train as well to cover all the bases.

I also at the same time took a course that taught me that you can't verify yourself as a true business unless you're able to take more than just cash payments. That pays dividends to this day.

Once I put all of those things in place I sat down with the woman I love @ and told her " all right it's currently March, I have enough funds to last us until September. If I don't stabilize by then I'll start putting in applications and get back to the rat race ( aka a 9 to 5) and I'll take what I can get. "

I believe that you do what you have to do, so you can do what you want to do.

Luckily for me through good reviews, good training, inconsistently showing up everyday I was able to stabilize and make profit from my business in June of that year. 💪🏾

And it's been 7 years since. I'm thankful to all the fitness seekers that I have worked with over the years and all the people watching that support me, friends family clients etc.

I couldn't have and cannot do it without you. Thank you so much for listening to me rant. Here's to another year. I hope you all have a great Sunday. Into all my clients watching this, I'll see you soon.
