🎬: Shadae Lorraine made her mark in the arts world as a respected dance coach, known for her passion, patience, and uncanny ability to bring out the best in teen performers. For years, she nurtured aspiring dancers—choreographing routines, mentoring them through auditions, and inspiring them to find their voice through movement. Her time on the studio floor wasn't just about technique; it was about empowerment, resilience, and storytelling through dance.

Today, Shadae takes that storytelling to a new stage as she steps behind the camera for her debut film, SHOWTIME HIGH. Guided by her deep understanding of young artists’ emotional landscapes, she’s crafting a narrative rich with authenticity: teens wrestling with family conflicts, school closure anxieties, and the fear of losing what they love most—dance. Drawing on her coaching experience, Shadae weaves genuine, heartfelt performances into her film, transforming SHOWTIME HIGH into more than just a dance movie—it becomes a compelling, empathetic exploration of hope, identity, and creative resistance.

As the threat of the school shutting down looms, each student faces personal battles at home—parents who no longer support their dreams of dancing, fearing there’s no future in it. Despite the pressure to give up, the students come together, using their passion for dance as a form of resistance and unity. With every routine, they fight not just for their school, but for their right to express themselves and chase the dreams others want them to abandon.
