My most requested recipe last year was this Buffalo chicken soup! This deserves a repost in honor of the start of fall! Crack this out for football games, a cozy bowl after a long day of work, or a Sunday after church meal 🤠
Buffalo Chicken Soup - has a bit of a kick, super filling, creamy, and fulll of chicken bone broth which is a major plus.
Chicken bone broth has been proven to improve digestion, protect your joints, is full of collagen which helps clear skin, has the "relaxation mineral" magnesium, and supports a healthy immune system.
* you can put this in smoothies, coffee, or even drink it by itself if you wish!
Allll right to the good stuff:
Buffalo Chicken Soup (crockpot recipe!!!)
3 stalks celery, diced
1 bunch green onions, chopped (set a handful aside for garnish)
1/2 White onion, diced
2 (32oz) cartons of Chicken bone broth
2 cups water
4-6 chicken breast
2 cloves Minced garlic
1 1/2 cups Buffalo sauce (I am a sucker for )
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 block of cream cheese
In a skillet, sautéed diced celery, diced white onion, and minced garlic over medium heat for 3-5 min or until soft. Place in crockpot.
Throw in chopped green onions, chicken bone broth, water, chicken breast, and Buffalo sauce.
Turn crockpot on high for 4 hours.
When ready to serve, combine cheese and throw in to the warm crockpot and stir. When the cheese is melted, get ready to enjoy this tasty, warm, burnin, cozy soup! Don't forget to garnish with fresh green onions!
Note: We made a lot to freeze so I did not put the cream cheese and cheese in it until it is reheated and are ready to eat!
