Today we had the pleasure of dining at Red Pier Cajun Seafood & Bar in Memphis with my friend Justin Johnson, Commander of VFW Auxiliary Post 5066 West Tennessee in Collierville. We indulged in their “Combo B,” a generous serving of crawfish, shrimp, snow crab clusters, corn on the cob, potatoes, and sausage. The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, satisfying our craving for a hearty seafood feast.

We both highly recommend visiting Red Pier! Their portions are ample, and the quality of seafood is exceptional.

This is so painful to see. Houston’s has been a staple in my life for 40+ years. I was adopted at birth from California and brought to Memphis a few weeks after I was born, and my parents remember which booth we sat in when they got back to Memphis. It was the first restaurant I was taken to! Sheila Cheeks has been my server for 4 decades. If crime was the problem, they should have hired more security. This has been the most successful and busiest restaurant in Memphis for almost half a century, and the owner made a huge mistake abruptly closing. I hope this new investor rumor comes true and they re-open soon.
