Tim Waugh was our 2017 clinician for River City Ring. He was so generous in his willingness to help others learn and feel loved.

We are saddened to report that internationally acclaimed conductor, composer, performance arts educator, and friend Tim Waugh passed away on Thursday evening, February 8, 2024. He will be greatly missed by the handbell community, and we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and music groups.

Tim was well known in many performance mediums, including handbell, choral, church music, and musical theatre. Read more about Tim at https://handbellmusicians.org/news/hma-says-farewell-to-tim-waugh/

We will share arrangements as they become available.

MEMPHIS FRIENDS: can you or someone you know help transfer handbells from a broken down uhaul to the replacement truck? This is manufacturers equipment that is traveling from Dallas to Pennsylvania, and the truck broke down. We have five maybe six people, but more hands make easier work. Let me know if you can help for half an hour or so between 11 AM and 1130, noon at the latest.
