Memphis Zoo is thrilled to announce Stingrays at Mangrove Cove, a new permanent, immersive exhibit set to open in 2027.

This dynamic experience will invite guests to connect with marine life in an engaging and memorable way, including opportunities to touch stingrays and observe sharks and other aquatic species representing waters from around the world. The exhibit will be included with general Zoo admission, with a small additional fee for guests who choose to participate in animal feeding opportunities.

Stingrays were previously featured at Memphis Zoo in a seasonal capacity and quickly became a guest favorite. Their return as part of a permanent habitat reflects our continued commitment to creating meaningful, up close wildlife experiences for our community.

Stingrays at Mangrove Cove will also highlight the conservation importance of mangrove ecosystems and the diverse species that depend on these critical coastal habitats.

We look forward to sharing more as Stingrays at Mangrove Cove continues to take shape and to welcoming guests to this exciting new addition in 2027.
