One year ago I met Gennifer Bess at an Alignable networking event in Menifee. She called me and invited me to speak about my new digital magazine in front of the crowd of people who were attending.
I had never spoken in public before, and I was very nervous. During that event I met so many amazing people who I still talk to regularly.
Not only did Gennifer give my dream a voice that day, but she connected me with so many other local business professionals since then who’ve supported me along the way.
Over the past year I’ve witnessed so many others get the chance to share their dreams and stories at this monthly event that Gennifer hosts. I’ve learned from watching her host, network, and support our business community day-in and day-out.
Gen, I’m so grateful to have met you, been mentored by you, and had the chance to support your dreams as well. You’ve been there for me through so much this year, and I will always cherish our friendship.
I cannot believe it’s already been a year since we met!! Don’t ever forget that you are a badass, and I love you!!
