What is the secret to Gary's Original Smashed Burgers making the best smashed burger on the planet?

There are two essential techniques:

The Smash:
Aggressively pressing the meat during the first 30 seconds on a smoking-hot, unoiled griddle guarantees maximum crust.

Double Pressing:
Using two separate, thin patties (instead of one thick patty) doubles your total crispy crust area.

Perfecting and combining these two techniques is how we make Gary's Original Smashed Burgers so dang delicious!
