I never imagined I’d start a business. That all changed the day my 9-year-old son was hit by a car.
In that moment, everything stopped. My focus shifted entirely to him—his recovery, his needs, his future. I left my job to be there for him, and in doing so, I found myself asking a question I’d never considered: What if I built something that allowed me to prioritize my family and still make an impact?
Velvet Fox Creative was born out of that question. Growing up in a small business family taught me the value of hard work and the power of community. Those lessons now inspire me to help other small businesses succeed. What started as a simple idea—helping brands create websites that not only look stunning but also convert—has grown into a deeply personal mission. I want to empower other small businesses to tell their stories in ways that attract dream clients and showcase their expertise.
Our journey hasn’t been easy. This first year has been filled with late nights, self-doubt, and the constant juggle of being a mom, wife, and entrepreneur. But with each challenge, there’s been growth and a deeper understanding of what truly matters—resilience, connection, and the courage to keep moving forward.
