Saint Teresa of Calcutta answered God’s “call within a call” by leaving behind a comfortable life and serving the poorest of the poor.

She entered places others avoided, cared for people the world had forgotten, and saw the face of Jesus in every person she encountered.

Her life reminds us that we don’t have to change the entire world today. We can begin by loving the person right in front of us. ❤️

🧠 Who is shaping your mind?

The world constantly pressures us to chase pleasure, possessions, approval, and status—but God calls us to something greater.

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.” — Romans 12:2 ✝️

The Holy Spirit performs this transformation, but we must cooperate with His grace:

🤲 Enter into daily prayer.
📖 Fill your mind with Sacred Scripture.
✝️ Receive the Eucharist and frequent Confession.
🕊️ Practice discipline and surrender.
🧠 Guard what enters your mind.

A renewed mind recognizes what is good, true, and beautiful. It discerns temptation, loves what God loves, and learns to recognize His will.

This transformation is not something we achieve—it is a gift of grace received through surrender.

Lord, renew my mind. Teach me to see through Your eyes, desire what You desire, and live according to Your will. Amen.

In 1839, Saint Jeanne Jugan welcomed an elderly woman into her home and offered her own bed. That act of compassion became the beginning of the Little Sisters of the Poor.

She gathered food for those in need and remained faithful even when her role as foundress went unrecognized.

John prepared the way for Jesus and proclaimed, “Behold, the Lamb of God.” When he courageously confronted King Herod’s sinful actions, he was imprisoned and eventually martyred.

His life challenges us to ask: Would we remain faithful when speaking the truth comes at a cost?

May Saint John the Baptist give us the courage to stand for Christ with humility, conviction, and love.
