This Ramadan, I don’t feel the same. This Ramadan, my mind is distracted, my heart aches, and my soul is searching. This Ramadan, I am in constant reflection that our bothers and sisters are being slaughtered each and every day. This Ramadan, I can feel a void in my chest for every person who has lost a sister, brother, spouse, father, or mother…or all. This Ramadan, tears come to my eyes every day because our Habibi Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم told us that the ummah is one body, and when one part hurts, the whole body hurts.

Dear Muslims, let’s feel the pain of our family, let’s remember them, and let’s make duaa for them because this Ramadan…is like no other.

May Allah forgive us and accept from us. May Allah open the doors of jannah and allow the breezes of paradise to fill the graves of Al Mujahideen and all the Muslims who have been martyred in Gaza and around the world.

امين يا رب العالمين 💔

Is my husband converting to Islam "for me" sweet or just dangerous?

Tune in to hear our thoughts on this assumption that a lot of people make.

The renewed gift of life is given upon waking up. In Islam, we praise God for this.

It is believed that the reward of working is money. For educators, the reward is typically seen as the ability to foster growth and education in others. This is definitely true.

One underestimated or unknown reward, though, is the pure amount of knowledge that educators are privileged to gain in the process of educating. That is gold, and for some, may be the entryway to Paradise.

Please, never underestimate the seeking of knowledge. It's not called nerdiness; it's called intelligence, empowerment, and change.

This Ramadan, we picked up some beautiful gems (lessons and values) that we're sharing with you in this episode. What gems did you pick up?

May Allah accept our good deeds and allow us to collect an abundance of gems that serve as reminders of Him. Ameen.

~Think about it.

There are no talks this Ramadan, but we've been having unofficial BIGtalks (ofc), and this is something that we've been discussing. I wanted to share it with you all.

I SUFFER from Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Chronic Vestibular Migraine, Fibromyalgia, spinal injuries, and other chronic illnesses.

In this episode, we draw an interesting illustration of chronic illnesses being "kids." It might sound strange, but you may find a lot of these similarities to be stunningly accurate and true. Tune in to hear more about it. We hope you enjoy!

And remember, take care of yourself.
