Surrounded by farms, this temple is a quiet place for meditation, culture, and community. On Sundays, it comes to life with a small Thai market serving authentic food with plenty of seating.

A beautiful Florida beach to save for your for your next trip to Key West!🏝

📍Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park Beach

The perfect beach for picnicking, swimming, snorkeling, watching the sunset or fishing. You can also explore Fort Taylor, a historical monument in the park which dates back to the Civil War

⬇️ More Info:
• Fee is $6 per vehicle, $4.50 motorcycle and $2.50 pedestrian or bicyclists
• There is a cafe along the beach with food, drinks, tables & restrooms
• Umbrellas, beach chairs, snorkeling gear are available to rent
•Dogs are permitted but must be on leash

🤿 Activities
• Recommend bringing water shoes if you would like to Snorkel (this is a coral beach!)
• Snorkelers may spot parrot fish, yellowtail snappers, lobster and corals
• Park does have wooden trails
• Fishing permitted on the West side of the park along the Key West shipping channel

Quick Tip:
Recommend visiting in the morning and on a weekday (less busy) and don’t forget your reef safe sunscreen!

⚠️Please leave no trace, dispose of your trash in the trash cans located all throughout the park. Let’s do our part in keeping the environment clean for all of the animals living here!
