Two beautiful embroidered ballerinas just joined our summer party today.

Founded by Gabriela Machado, Momoc makes joyful vegan shoes by hand in Elda, Spain. Each pair is embroidered and made from recycled and plant-based materials, with nature, memory and storytelling stitched in.

One for those who like to have a cheeky dance in the bathroom before kicking off their day. Meet the new kids on the block Typical, a young Canadian studio on a mission to pimp up the mundane.

They started with the humble towel, weaving stretch into traditional terry cloth and dressing the whole lot in stripes, solids and delicious hues.

As a longtime fan of Company this new show looks like an absolute fever dream. World Affair is a four-floor exhibition at Piknic in Seoul, built like a living market and running until 12 September. One floor is an ode to the world’s markets, made with craft masters across a dozen countries. On the third floor, a brilliant cast of hand-painted plywood street vendors sell new work from 2025 and 2026, from green monsters from Temalacatzingo to dream lights from Yame to heat wave fans from Damyang. The floor below ends at a fruit stall filled with their wonderful wooden products. One of the most joyful things I have seen all year. I WANT IT ALL.
