City’s responsibility or mine? 🤔
Major water leak at the meter last night. The city is claiming the broken coupler is my responsibility since it’s on my side of the box.
I’m questioning that because I have PVC coming from my home, while they have steel coming out of the meter box. My house is 30+ years old and this is the first time I’ve had an issue.
Is this coupler actually mine, or is the city just trying to avoid the repair? Anyone dealt with this before?

Help!
I’m a 1st year apprentice with my water heater license in Oregon, I know quite a bit about how to install a water heater but there’s one thing that I cannot seem to get a hang of, and that is putting a water heater onto a stand all by myself. Does anyone have any tips that wouldn’t require me using a ramp or car jack?

What is this pipe in our garage ceiling that has suddenly started leaking a steady stream of water..

I have never had a tank on a water heater in 50 years and that includes 6 homes. Can someone explain what the tank does? Thanks in advance. All my heaters where electric if that matters
