South Florida foodies, you’ll want to go to If Malka in West Palm Beach if you’re craving modern israeli food.

Created by Israeli celebrity chef Eyal Shani, Malka is Glatt kosher (the strictest supervision for meat) so it’s completely dairy free. The best part? Whether you keep kosher or not, the food is absolutely worth the trip.

We tried the focaccia, hummus, latkes, egg bruschetta and burger; everything was beyond delicious. But the surprise standout for me was the tahini espresso, a slushie that marries coffee and halva in the most perfect way

And you know I had to save room for dessert: non dairy crème brÝlÊe and pistachio cake.

My tip: Make a day of it! Take the Brightline up from Miami, enjoy brunch, explore Palm Beach and head home without dealing with the drive.

The first time I heard your heart beat, I knew the miracle I had prayed for was real.

The first time I held you in my arms 24 years ago, I knew my unconditional love would only grow, and guide me to be the mother you need. You were the first to call me Mamá, a privilege I have never taken lightly. And even if we don’t look alike, sometimes it’s scary how in sync we are.

I’m so proud of the man you’ve become even if it means I don’t get to see you as much I would like to. May you continue to build the life you want to live while making time for joy.
