Joe Rose spent time on The Joe Rose Show talking about Tua Tagovailoa’s struggles and future with the Miami Dolphins. Rose broke down why the conversation around Tua has become so polarizing — some fans defend him relentlessly, blaming the offensive line and supporting cast, while others insist he needs everything to be “perfect” to succeed.

Rose pointed out that durability remains Tua’s biggest issue, noting that one more serious concussion could end Tua’s career. He praised the quarterback for playing smarter — sliding early and throwing the ball away more often — but also acknowledged that it limits what Tua can do.

Despite the criticism, Rose doesn’t believe the Dolphins are moving on just yet, but points to the quarterback's surrounding cast. He added that Miami will likely focus on improving protection around Tua once again this offseason.
