a little context before you come for me ↓
I’ve raised four kids while working full-time and building businesses, and there were plenty of years when my time was absolutely not my own.
But I almost always found 30 minutes to an hour for myself.
Sometimes it was a walk. Sometimes Pilates. Sometimes weights or a HIIT workout. It changed depending on the season of life I was in. Even throughout countless injuries, and illness…I woke up and did it again and again…
And looking back, I think that little window of time saved me in more ways than just physically. It was something I did for myself while so much of my day was spent taking care of everyone and everything else.
It didn’t have to be perfect. It didn’t have to be an hour. I just had to do something.
And after all these years, I still believe this: Fit isn’t bought, it’s built.
