I have been so busy and my album has just been promoting itself. I’m so thankful. It’s such a blessing when you put your heart and soul into a quality project especially when you are independent artist, and you pay for every penny, and you put in all your sweat and tears…. I could not be more thankful. I’m worldwide baby!! 🙌🏽

Here’s an article in the UK, written by a very highly respected music journalist and more:

Somewhere between the gossip, the judgment, and the unsolicited opinions, this song found me.
There was a time in my life when other people seemed far more interested in discussing me than understanding me.
Family.
So-called friends.
Strangers.
Especially the church.
I've been called a lot of things in my life.
Hopeless wasn't one of them.
Yet there were certainly people who seemed determined to make it fit.
I was simply being human.
Trying to find my way.
Trying to make sense of life.
Trying to navigate very human experiences.
While I was searching for answers, many people seemed far more interested in offering criticism.
Instead of resolve.
Instead of solutions.
Instead of compassion.
Ridicule was their only offering.
That is one of the reasons this song stayed with me.
Hopeless is one of the most underrated gems to come out of the 90s.
Most people hear a love song.
I hear the moment you finally say goodbye to all the bu****it in your life.
The toxic.
The familiar.
Even some of the things that once felt fun.
They simply no longer resonate.
And when you stop holding onto what no longer belongs, you make room for whatever positivity and possibility comes next.
Looking back, being strong required far more than putting on a brave face.
It required inner work.
It required discipline.
It required making a decision.
The day I stopped feeling sorry for myself and declared that being strong was my only recourse, everything began to change.
Then I stayed consistent.
I shut out the noise.
I stopped giving power to voices that had never carried the weight of my circumstances.
And I focused on becoming a better version of myself.
My life transformed.
That is what Hopeless means to me.
Not a woman giving up.
A woman deciding she deserves better.

Bullet Proof Soul -Sade Cover by Zyan Reign
Bullet Proof Soul has been one of my favorite songs in the world for years.
For a long time, I thought I loved it because of the melody, the mood, and the way only Sade can make heartbreak sound elegant.
Years later, I realized I loved it because it was telling my story.
More than once.
More times than I care to divulge.
I've loved people who wanted love and were terrified of it at the same time.
People who asked for honesty, devotion, and consistency, then seemed uncomfortable when those things were freely given.
People who longed for peace, then created storms.
People who wanted to be loved deeply, yet struggled to trust the very love they had been asking for.
And because I loved them, I stayed longer than I should have.
I believed longer than I should have.
I hoped longer than I should have.
Then Sade delivers the line:
"I know the end before the story's been told."
The older I became, the more I understood what she meant.
There were times I already knew.
I saw the signs.
I recognized the pattern.
I sensed exactly where the road would end.
Yet I kept walking.
Not because I was blind.
Because I loved.
What Sade repeated,
"You kept on thinking you are the only one. Too busy thinking love is a gun."
That line stayed with me.
It hit me like a slow bullet.
Little by little.
It followed me through relationships, through disappointments, and through lessons I seemed determined to learn more than I care to divulge.
Lesson after lesson.
Until one day I understood.
The pattern became impossible to ignore.
It took me a while to understand that some people spend so much time bracing for pain that they struggle to recognize love when it finally arrives.
These days, I'm single.
And I'm alright with that.
I've made peace with waiting for my true match.
The right person will recognize honesty, devotion, consistency, and love for what they are.
Until then, I have my music, my purpose, my faith, and a life I genuinely enjoy.
As for the rest, Sade said it better than I ever could.
"It's not that complicated..."
They're just going to need a bullet proof soul.

Motherless Child | Zyan Reign
I was fifteen years old and largely on my own.
Some nights I cried myself to sleep wondering why a mother's love seemed to come so naturally to other people and felt so far out of reach for me. Around that same time, my grandmother, one of the few people whose love felt certain, was slowly slipping away to Alzheimer's. Watching that happen at such a young age left questions in my heart that took years to answer.
Years later, I enrolled at Miami Dade College as a journalism major. Before long, I changed my major to Musical Theatre Performance and began studying jazz.
When it came time for my first solo, my professor wanted a song that carried an emotion I could genuinely connect with. After learning more about my story, he chose Motherless Child for me.
At the time, it felt almost too fitting.
The longing.
The separation.
The search for connection.
I understood those things long before I understood music theory.
Back then, I sang the song from the perspective of a young woman trying to make sense of what was missing.
Today, at almost fifty, I hear it through different ears.
I hear it as a mother.
A mother who raised her children largely on her own. Imperfectly, certainly, but with everything I had to give. There were difficult days, uncertain days, and days when exhaustion felt heavier than hope. Still, there were no days off. The children needed breakfast. The bills needed paying. Life kept moving.
When I sing this song now, I hear the young girl who longed for a mother's love.
I also hear the woman who spent her life trying to give that love to her own children.
That is why Motherless Child means more to me than I will ever be able to explain.
Thank you for listening.
