Westerville Police confronted Lawyer Emmanuel Olawale on his own property while he was simply taking out the trash. Despite identifying himself and providing a business card, the officers insisted on taking his ID.

The Legal Battle: Olawale stood his ground: "Don’t run my ID. I’m a lawyer. I know my rights.". He knew that running an ID without reasonable suspicion is an unlawful detention.
