Remember the days of doodling for hours? 🍭 Today, I wanted to draw like a kid and started to remember the art club my friend Raquel and I started within our families. It was exclusive to middle children—our older sisters were too cool, and younger brothers were busy being little boogers. No progress video here—just me, my markers, and the peace of creating without a tripod or pauses. This sketch was done during a moment of meditation, a time to sit with my feelings. But sitting with your emotions doesn’t always have to mean sadness, depression, or anxiety. Sometimes, it’s about being calm, reflecting on difficult situations, and regulating your thoughts enough to really dissect them. I got lost in the process with some Twilight soundtrack playing, and by the end, I felt so grounded.

This week has been filled with back-to-back doctor appointments for the kiddos, and I’ve fallen behind on a few things. But it’s okay—these moments don’t weigh me down. One day at a time. 🌸🌷🌼🌻🌿
