🚨 FROM FAKE IDs TO A MURDER CHARGE 🚨

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA

Douglas County residents do you remember the unidentified body pulled from Dog River Reservoir back in May? The one floating in the water that nobody seemed to know anything about?

Turns out investigators figured it out. And allegedly it’s connected to the massive investigation at a home in Langdale Chase just a few weeks ago.

Back in May, authorities arrested Mario Andre Barber and Brittany Amber Baker after investigators allegedly uncovered a fake ID and fraudulent registration tag operation being run out of their residence.

According to police, the pair were facing a laundry list of charges including identity fraud, manufacturing false identification documents, forgery, possession of fake IDs, and unlawful use of government logos.

At the time, those charges alone were enough to land them in front of a judge, who denied bond because of the seriousness of the case.

Fast forward a few weeks.

Now those same two individuals have been charged with murder in connection with the death of 37-year-old Jamal Parker, whose body was recovered from Dog River Reservoir on May 15 and later identified through DNA testing.

Let that sink in for a second.

What started as a search warrant tied to fake IDs and fraudulent tags has now landed in murder territory.

Authorities still haven’t released exactly what happened or why. Apparently that part is still being worked out. But it’s generally safe to assume people don’t accidentally end up dead in a reservoir while two other people catch murder charges.

So for now the connection between the homicide investigation and the fake ID case remains unclear.

But one thing is certain:

When detectives showed up looking for counterfeit IDs, nobody expected the story to end with a body in a reservoir and two murder charges.

Douglas County just keeps writing scripts nobody would believe if they showed up on Netflix.

🚨 TRAGEDY IN MISSOURI 🚨

Twelve people are dead after a skydiving plane crashed shortly after takeoff near Butler Memorial Airport in Missouri on Sunday morning. Authorities say the aircraft was carrying 11 skydivers and a pilot when it went down in a fiery crash.

According to officials, the plane had just taken off when it made a sharp left turn and crashed near the airport. Early reports suggest the aircraft may have experienced power loss before the pilot attempted an emergency landing. The plane reportedly stalled, went nose-first into the ground, and burst into flames.

Even more heartbreaking, authorities say some of the victims’ family members witnessed the crash from the ground.

The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are now investigating what caused the deadly crash. The identities of the victims have not yet been released as officials work to notify next of kin.

Tonight, 12 families are receiving the kind of phone call no family should ever have to receive.

The money train has apparently reached the end of the line.

Reports indicate GiveSendGo has shut down the fundraiser created for Karmelo Anthony after it reportedly raised more than $625,000. The page disappeared Wednesday, just days after Anthony was convicted in the murder of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf and sentenced to 35 years in prison.

For months, supporters insisted he was the victim. A Texas jury reviewed the evidence and came to a very different conclusion.

Now the fundraiser is gone.

The bigger question is this: Should someone convicted of a violent crime be able to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars through online crowdfunding platforms?

⚫️ 💙 ⚫️ Heartbreaking news.

Nearly one year after being struck by a vehicle while serving in the line of duty, Carrollton Police Officer Dustin Krish has passed away.

Earlier this month, the department asked for prayers as Dustin battled pneumonia. Today, they shared the news:

“He is healed and home with Jesus.”

Chief Richards said it best: “Dustin was the best of us.”

The Exposure joins our community in mourning the loss of Officer Dustin Krish. Please keep Emily, Sgt. Chad Krish, and the entire Krish family in your prayers during this difficult time.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice, Officer Krish. You will not be forgotten. 💙

Below is the recording from yesterday's Coroner Training Council meeting in Forsyth, Georgia. The one where she showed up an hour late. I cleaned up the audio as much as possible to make it easier to follow.

Remember when people said there was nothing to see here? Remember when people said nothing will be done?

The State of Georgia appears to disagree.

Douglas County Coroner Renee Godwin is now facing an active state investigation over allegations of widespread mismanagement inside her office.

After arriving roughly an hour late, Godwin was reportedly given ten days to gather and provide documentation supporting her position.

Turns out some stories don't go away just because people wish they would. Sometimes they grow legs, pick up investigators, and come back with badges.

We'll be watching.

GUILTY.

After months of media spin, fundraising campaigns, online outrage, and endless attempts to push competing narratives, the jury has spoken.

Karmelo Anthony has been found guilty of murder.

For all the noise surrounding this case, one fact never changed: Austin Metcalf lost his life, and his family has been forced to live with that reality every single day.

Today, twelve jurors heard the evidence, reviewed the facts, and reached their conclusion.

Guilty.

Now the attention turns to Anthony’s supporters.

Will they accept the verdict and respect the judicial process they spent months defending? Or will this become another attempt to explain away accountability when the outcome isn’t what they wanted?

The country has seen that playbook before.

Regardless of what comes next, the jury has delivered its answer. Not social media. Not activists. Not commentators.

The jury.

And their answer was clear.
