The Addiction was my first short film, created during my first semester at CCAT in Miami. It was born from one of the darkest moments of my life, when I felt truly lost, and became a reflection of how addiction can consume us.

This project would not exist without my wife Ingryd Viera, who encouraged me to begin this career, my professors, RAIZ 440 Studio, my brother Gustavo “Tavi” Gutiérrez, and the powerful performance of José Luis Uz, who turned his own struggles into catharsis on screen.
