Over the years, rappers slowly learned there was one line you didn’t cross with Eminem:
bringing up his daughter, Hailie.

Rap beef usually helps careers. Artists trade diss tracks, fans pick sides, and attention grows. But Eminem treated mentions of Hailie differently than everything else.

In the early 2000s, Ja Rule referenced Hailie in one of his tracks during his feud with Eminem. Eminem responded aggressively with multiple diss records attacking Ja Rule’s credibility, image, and career. The rap world largely sided with Eminem, and Ja Rule’s dominance slowly faded afterward.

Years later, Machine Gun Kelly made comments online about Hailie when she was still underage. Eminem didn’t respond immediately — but he remembered it.

When MGK later released “Rap Devil,” Eminem answered with “Killshot,” a diss track many fans still consider one of the most brutal responses in modern rap beef history.
