Wrong. Always cut from the upper side in situations like this or the chainsaw will get trapped.

And old one on a fire a couple years ago. Why all back bar I cut low. Not a habit I’ll break. And coming back up on the high side I’d have to flip the saw. I’m also consistent backbaring the undercut
