Steve McQueen’s Ferrari 275 NART Spider is heading to public auction for the first time.

Chassis 10453 is one of just 10 NART Spiders built and was sold new to McQueen in 1967. Rather than being returned to factory specification, it still carries the darker metallic blue finish, custom interior details and other changes commissioned during his ownership, along with its matching-numbers engine and transaxle and original Scaglietti body.

Gooding Christie’s will offer the car at the inaugural Rétromobile New York auction this November with a $15 million to $20 million estimate.
