Disney Wish is coming to New York City in 2027! Beginning September 29, Disney Wish will sail a short season of seven cruises from New York, making it the first Wish-class Disney ship to offer multiple sailings from the city.

The cruises will range from 4 to 7 nights, with itineraries visiting Bermuda, Canada and New England. Highlights include extended stays in Bermuda, a 6-night sailing combining Bermuda and Halifax, and a 7-night Canada cruise visiting Charlottetown, Sydney and Halifax.

The ship’s final departure from New York will be on October 31, 2027, with a 5-night one-way cruise to San Juan that includes a stop in Bermuda.

Disney Wish will then sail two cruises from Puerto Rico, including a 7-night Southern Caribbean itinerary visiting Aruba, Bonaire, Dominica and St. Maarten. On November 12, the ship will begin its journey back to Port Canaveral on a 4-night cruise visiting both Disney Lookout Cay and Disney Castaway Cay.

Once back in Florida, Disney Wish will return to its regular 3- and 4-night Bahamas cruises from Port Canaveral.

The new 2027 itineraries are currently listed as “Coming Soon” on Disney Cruise Line’s website, with bookings expected to open soon.

2027 is already shaping up to be a huge year for the cruise industry 🚢 Five major cruise lines are getting ready to debut some seriously massive new ships, so here they are ranked from smallest to biggest:

5. Disney Believe - Around 144,000 gross tons and capacity for up to 4,000 guests. She’ll be the fourth ship in Disney’s Wish Class, joining Disney Wish, Treasure and Destiny.

4. Norwegian Aura - At nearly 170,000 gross tons, Aura will become the largest ship in NCL’s history. She’ll feature the biggest pool deck in the NCL fleet, plus a three-deck outdoor activity complex with waterslides, rock climbing, mini golf, cabanas and more.

3. Carnival Festivale - At around 184,000 gross tons, Festivale will be the fourth Excel Class ship. One of the biggest changes will be Sunsation Point, featuring WaterWorks Ultra, Carnival’s largest waterpark yet, along with mini golf, a ropes course and nighttime entertainment.

2. MSC World Atlantic - Coming in at around 215,000 gross tons and carrying up to 6,800 guests, this World Class ship is planned to sail from Port Canaveral.

1. Hero of the Seas - At over 250,000 gross tons and with capacity for close to 8,000 guests, Royal Caribbean’s fourth Icon Class ship is expected to take the title of the world’s largest cruise ship when she debuts.
