One thing about kids


They are always paying attention even when you think they’re not.

These past few months were filled with flashcards, late nights, early mornings, and a lot of caffeine.

Balancing motherhood and studying for the Florida Bar wasn’t easy, but it reminded me why showing up matters even on the days when you’re tired.

Sometimes the most important lessons aren’t the ones we teach with words
 but the ones our kids learn just by watching us.

Traveling with kids is all about trying to find things that make the day go smoother.

I’ve seen a million travel hacks online, but I never see anyone mention the ones I swear by every single trip.

These things end up saving me when traveling:

✹ Keep a small roll of doggy bags in your bag— for dirty clothes, diapers, food trash, puke, literally anything

✹Bring painter’s tape for toddle proofing — cover outlets, sharp corners, & hotel drawers

✹Have ONE “calm down” activity in your phone — white noise video, bubble popping app, or aquarium video. You’d be surprised at the moment of times you’ll use it.

✹Put a “hotel return address” in your kid’s pocket — this sounds silly but if you get separated, someone can help them get to where they need to go.

These things have never let me down & I love that it isn’t anything crazy. You ever used any of these??
