What a massive episode. 🎙️🔥
I just wrapped up the podcast with Justin Neely, and I am absolutely blown away by his journey, his resilience, and his elite mindset.
We covered it all: his sheer domination from the 8th grade through high school, the devastating ACL injury that sidelined him for two years, and the relentless daily grind it took to recover and get back to top form. Justin’s resume speaks for itself:
🏀 Freshman of the Year at Albany
🏀 6th Man of the Year at UNC Greensboro
🏀 Now heading to Colorado to win it all his final year
But here are the two biggest takeaways from our conversation that completely shifted my perspective:
1️⃣ College Sports = Professional Sports. The amount of money flowing through D1 basketball right now is staggering. We discussed how top-tier college hoops is essentially a professional league at this point.
2️⃣ Soccer in the U.S. is missing our best athletes. Justin played Varsity soccer for exactly ONE year in high school—and led his team to a state championship. It proves my point entirely: if America’s elite, explosive athletes chose the pitch instead of the hardwood, we would completely dominate the world stage.
This is an absolute must-listen episode. Stay tuned for the official drop date! 🎧
