One thing about us, we’re probably skipping the tour and renting the $40 golf cart from a local instead 😂🌴
While everyone else was at the beach club making content, we took off to explore Bimini the way we usually love to, by finding the local spots!
And honestly? That’s where the magic always seems to happen, like no fancy setup, no over-the-top aesthetic… Just a tiny little shack called Joe’s Conch Shack, which makes some of the best conch fritters we’ve ever had, crystal-clear turquoise water out back, and a huge pile of conch shells that somehow added even more character to the place.
Also yes, conch is delicious but UGLY as heck! 😂🐚
We sat, ate, talked with locals, and soaked in the kind of moments you can’t really plan for, the ones that end up becoming your favorite memories from a trip.
Now don’t get me wrong, I love a beautiful resort, a beach club, and a fancy dinner every now and then too 😄✨
But there’s just something special about the hidden gems, the mom and pop spots, and the places filled with history, personality, and heart ♥️
The kind of places where you leave feeling like you got to experience a little piece of the real destination!
