Awesome efforts by clients to secure rugs and provide traction for slippery floors while their senior sweetheart navigates through degenerative arthritis. I repositioned that left forelimb shortly after photo taken, while using a physioball to unload the joints and strengthen muscles isometrically.

Lots of calls and questions coming in as my retirement is coming soon. To confirm: my Joycare Onsite website is coming down September 20. Be sure to scroll through the blog, the Pet PT Pit Stop and download any articles that you think would help you in the future. Some of the most well-read articles I am bringing over to my new site (https://joycareliving.com) and will be there but there are over 50 and I can't transfer them all. I'm just going by the Google stats as to what was most searched and read over the years. My last day of work will be Tuesday September 30th. Many kind wishes have been sent and these are all appreciated. A memory from summer 2020, working through the pandemic. No social distancing needed with the pups. We were sure the type of Coronavirus happening then was not transferable to canines and that turned out to be right. But.....what a challenging time workwise as I had just come off a winter working outdoors, or in barns or garages with lots of electrical extension cords, blankets, coats and hats......only missed 10 days when transmission levels in our local area were too high/risky. I did Telehealth during that brief time but otherwise....worked through the entire time. Glad it is behind us.
