Milford City Council approved a contract with Mark Whitfield that would allow him to act as interim city manager until Chris Coleman, his replacement, settled into his role. The contract is limited to $18,000 and Whitfield, who will work on an as-needed basis, will appoint acting city managers, per city charter, as needed.
