Caitlin Ann Gooch, , founder of is in charge of the stories ALL DAY! ☀️
How does Caitlin, who has three children (one of which is a newborn), a husband, four horses, three dogs and a 501(c)3 to run, have time for this? 👧🏾👧🏾👶🏾 👦🏾🐴🐴🐴🐴🐶🐶🐶
I have no idea. Hopefully she will share her time management skillz with us! ⏱
Saddle Up and Read is a non-profit dedicated to decreasing the literacy gap in North Carolina between white students and minority students. Using horse-related experiences to incentivize children to read, they provide guidance for kids and increase reading proficiency. 📚
Because the coronavirus has closed schools and public libraries, Saddle Up and Read is raising money to purchase books and get them into the hands of children. They recently reached their first goal of $3,000 and made arrangements with two schools to distribute books on the East Coast. Their next project is to confirm arrangements for book distribution through two schools in the Midwest. 📒📕📗
Due to the coronavirus, libraries and schools are still closed. Caitlin is trying to put books in the homes of kids in need of books. 📖

Being able to read is NOT OPTIONAL. The literacy facts Caitlin will share today are alarming. Don’t miss this chance to get involved in this a cause, founded and operated by great people trying to use their love of horses and books to make a difference for underserved children. 🐎👦🏽👧🏿👶🏾📖 @ North Carolina
