Morken grew up in Marin County, California, north of San Francisco. He attended the University of California at Berkeley, where he played rugby for the Golden Bears and studied Political Science, Economics and History. Morken attended law school at the University of San Francisco and Oxford, England. He continued playing rugby all over the world after completing his formal education and becoming a

full time trial attorney in San Francisco. Morken represented clients from all walks of life with varied legal issues. He currently lives in Marin County with his family. The Green Teas Cave is his first full length novel. He is currently working on his second novel, The Golden Hinde Conspiracy.
