What can you do to learn about the media industry and beef up your resume during COVID 19?

Join NBS The National Electronic Media Association. Millersville has an active and award winning NBS chapter. The NBS national dues are now due to the national HQ. The absolute last deadline to give your membership money is 11/13/2020.

National dues are $30 for each membership but this year the COVID deal is $15.00 but the local chapter club needs to FUNDRAISE the other $15.00. If you do not wish to join in on the fundraisers, please feel free to pay the unsubsidized $30.00.

Process: Let Erin Hart know you are joining the club through email, the google doc, whatever works, and put the money in an envelope under Dr. Irwin’s office door, Bassler 110 or venmo it to advisor Stacey Irwin. The fall one day Virtual Convention is November 6th.

• The spring hybrid/virtual Indianapolis Convention is in March 2020.
• Early bird submission for the Student Electronic Media festival is 11/10 ($25) and the final submission deadline is 11/20 ($35).
• If you have a 3.5 GPA or higher and have 2 semesters at MU, you can be nominated for the NBS National Honor Society and add another line to your resume.
