Sometimes the loudest battle we fight isn't around us...

It's between the truth God has spoken and the lies we begin to believe.

This week's Porch Notes was inspired by a conversation with my oldest daughter during a workout that challenged both our bodies—and our minds.

It's a reminder I needed just as much as she did:

Not every thought deserves your agreement.

it’s twins! 😍

This little guy was born a week or two early and he’s struggling to find where to suck on mama. After getting him latched and some colostrum in him we supplemented a bottle to give him a little boost. Hopefully after a couple days he will be just fine on his own 🤍

Discipline over desire

Because the truth is, I don't always feel like waking up early.
I don't always feel like working out.
I don't always feel like taking the next faithful step toward the dreams God has placed on my heart.

But feelings come and go.

Faithfulness is choosing to keep showing up anyway.
