Congratulations to Christine on a successful sale, and on beginning her new chapter at her brand new home in Franklin.

Christine put in the work to get her home looking its absolute best before listing, and it paid off. The activity started right away, with multiple offers on the table by the end of the first weekend.

The home ended up selling for well over list, and Christine was able to secure her preferred closing date along with additional occupancy time, making her move that much smoother.

We closed on our 5th investment property this week, and honestly, the number isn’t the part worth sharing. The part worth sharing is everything it took to get from zero to one, because that was the hardest step by far.

We didn’t start with a plan to own a certain number of properties. We started with one, a lot of uncertainty, and the decision to just begin instead of waiting until it felt perfect. Our goal has always been to leverage real estate investing as one tool in our toolbox that will drive our wealth strategy.

If you’re on the fence about real estate as part of your wealth strategy, here’s the truth: you don’t need to be wealthy to start. You need to start and let time and consistency do the rest. Every property after the first one got a little less scary and a little more familiar.

We’ve made mistakes along the way, waited too long on some decisions, and underestimated costs on others. That’s part of it too.
