Located in the heart of Milwaukee, Skylight Music Theatre has spent decades creating opportunities for artists, inspiring audiences and showing us just how powerful the stage can be. We couldn’t imagine a more meaningful place to celebrate the talented young women shaping our city’s future.

Tonight is the night. A new Miss Wisconsin will be crowned.

This week has been everything I had imagined and so much more. I have created so many memories with the incredible girls besides me, and I never lost sight of my why.

No matter the outcome tonight, I shared my most authentic self and that’s what this is all about. I got to share why Little Champions: Building Positive Self Image in Kids would thrive in the state of Wisconsin and beyond. Some of favorite moments during this week was when I still got to have conversations with kiddos about their own self image even throughout competition week. My mission remains the same, to serve this state beyond who Bri is.

I am so beyond thankful for my directors, my family, my friends, for supporting me and cheering me on every step of this week. ❤️

THERE SHE IS 💙 Our Miss Milwaukee Briana Schram interviewed for the job of Miss Wisconsin today. We are so proud of her for sharing her journey, passion, and heart with the judges.

Come cheer her on at the first night of preliminaries on Wednesday as she competes in talent and onstage question. The event starts at 6 PM at New Berlin West Performing Arts Center. Ticket link is in the comments!

Walking into my interview this morning, I felt nothing but gratitude.

This journey has already given me so much, and getting the chance to speak with the judges and share my heart was such an honor. We talked about service, leadership, and what it would mean to have the opportunity to serve Wisconsin.

In the video, you’ll see a 2004 Miss America program book that my directors gave me (my birth year!!). I found myself flipping through the pages and wondering what those women were feeling in those moments. Excited? Nervous? Hopeful? Probably all of the above. It was a reminder that so many amazing women have walked this path before me.

A huge thank you to Fine Line Custom Attire for sponsoring my interview suit 💙 Getting to help design it from scratch was such a cool experience. Every detail was intentional and reflected pieces of who I am. My favorite part is stitched right on the inside of the suit - Philippians 4:13, I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me.

And shoutout to Magic Dreams Productions for always making us feel our best behind the camera 📸

Next stop: Miss Wisconsin preliminary competition on Wednesday!! Let’s do this! 👑
